Scottish Highland Games Caber Tosser Lamp
New from the Studios of raybrowndesign.com
No one can say for sure how the traditional Highland Games arose, but we can surmise that they developed over time from friendly competitions between neighbouring clans. Each event no doubt fiercely contested, for with each victory or defeat rested the honour of the clan.
From these humble traditions has arisen an event which spans the globe, attracting visitors and competitors in huge numbers the world over.
We are pleased to release the Caber Tosser, the next in our series of Hightland Games statuettes, each sculpture depicting one of the disciplines in the Highland Games. To complement the Caber Tosser and Hammer Thrower we shall soon be releasing companions which are the Shot Putter and Highland Dancers - male and female. The Caber Tosser is available as a stand alone sculpture without the lamp fittings.
